On December 28, 2019, the Xuzhou Museum conducted a new daily lecture of the Han Daily "History on the Tongue-Ancient Hot Pot". At 2:30 in the afternoon, the students arrived at the lecture hall on time to learn the history of ancient hot pot. Teachers also arrived early to prepare the paper and pen for the students.
First of all, the teacher showed students the similarities and differences of modern and ancient hot pot with several vivid pictures, and introduced the origin of its name, led the students into the classroom, and stimulated the students' interest in understanding the history ancient hot pot . Then the teacher talked about the historical development of the dynasties from the Neolithic Age to the Ming and Qing Dynasties. From the origin, the prototype, to the promotion and development, he introduced the utensil shapes, cooking forms, and ingredients of the hot pot development in different periods. Focus on explaining the development of spicy culture in China.
The teacher actively interacted with the students, interspersed with interesting historical stories, and the classroom atmosphere was relaxed and active. During the teacher's explanation and appreciation of the pictures, the students learned the characteristics of the hot pot development in the past dynasties. I also became more interested in the course of history. The teacher discussed the questions raised by the classmates in the class and answered them. Finally, the participating students drew their favorite hot pot shape on the paper and shared them. The course gradually came to an end. At four o'clock in the afternoon, the Han daily routine ended successfully.
The "Han Daily" youth courses in 2019 are carefully designed and planned by the Xuzhou Museum, based on the rich cultural heritage of the western and eastern Han Dynasties in Xuzhou, combined with the physical collection of the Xuzhou Museum, and relying on the history professional teachers of Jiangsu Normal University to build the Han Dynasty for primary school students Material culture series courses. Held successively "The Secret of Agriculture in the Han Dynasty", "Handcrafted Black Technology in the Han Dynasty", "How much do you know about the salt and iron official camp"etc. Through the exploration of venues and the interpretation of documents and real-world experience, students' interest in material culture in the Han Dynasty was stimulated.
In 2020, the Xuzhou Museum will deepen the content of the course and combine the course with the experience, so that young people will have a more intuitive learning and experience in Chinese characters.
